The Squirrel's Plan
One day, a squirrel was climbing trees, while a dark, scary, shadow hovered above it. The dark shadow roared louder than a lion. The squirrel was more frightened than a mouse seeing a cat. The shadow showed its white, sharp, teeth. Its face was dark as a rock. The frightened squirrel quickly ran down the trees and darted into a deep, dark, hole. The squirrel spotted an acorn next to the him. The acorn looked like the squirrel. The squirrel had an idea! He smiled. He would take the acorn and throw it and the monster would take it. He succeeded!

The Champ and I
I went to the funeral of Muhammad Ali because a week ago, I did a report on him and I wrote he was alive, for school. So me and my dad woke up at 3:00 a.m. and left at 3:30 a.m. because my dad could only take one day off.
As I was at the funeral of Muhammad Ali ( the Champ) in Kentucky, Sugar Ray Leonard walked in and the crowds burst into cheers. I was as surprised as a mouse seeing a cat. People began surrounding him when they spotted him. There were about 15,000 people there. People with many faiths and religions. People with many colors of skin. Black, white, brown. The funeral took place in Freedom Hall. Freedom Hall is a place where Muhammad Ali boxed.
One of my favorite experiences was when the news took photos of me with the Turkish president, President Erdogan. The Turkish president's wife pulled me close to him. I was right next to him.
I watched a movie of Muhammad Ali about how he practiced his faith. It was about wherever he went he practiced his faith. He prayed right after he boxed.
Imam Zaid Shakir led the funeral. He helped a lot with the funeral. He gave speeches. He led the funeral prayer.
People also presented speeches of Muhammad Ali. With all the commotion, the speeches were really hard to understand at the back of the rows. There were so many people everywhere, mostly on the front rows, so the back rows could not move ahead to hear better. I could not hear a thing!
It was hard to make the rows for the funeral prayer. Many men were helping make the rows straight. Imam Zaid Shakir told the people of other faiths to go out of the room because it was an Islamic funeral and they needed to make more space. I was more squished than a herd of elephants.
After the funeral a lot of people went to Ali Center. People left flowers for Ali. People also signed some quotes from Muhmmad Ali on a big, rectangle, yellow banner. One of the quotes that most people signed was "I float like a butterfly, I sting like a bee, Your hand can't hit, what your eyes can't see." I signed that one.
Muhammad Ali is my greatest champ. I liked the funeral because they gave really good speeches. They also did it in Freedom Hall which is a place where Muhammad Ali boxed.
